Pocket Network is looking to hire a remote Developer Ecosystem Lead to join the team.

We are looking for someone who is a Web3 wizard and master communicator who can accelerate the growth of our community of DApp Developers and Node Runners.
The ideal candidate operates like many of our Web3 friends do; they’re deeply curious about all corners of Web3, passionate about the principles of open-source, and have an obsessive attention to detail.
Because Pocket Network is chain-agnostic node infrastructure in service of DApp developers, you’ll need to get comfortable with a breathtaking breadth of knowledge – how to build DApps and run nodes for every blockchain, via Pocket Network – and become an inspirational voice for the Web3 ecosystem.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developer Evangelism – Evangelize developers by creating content & SEO strategies that pull them in to Pocket’s orbit, spanning across all chains and app categories, and all formats such as blogs, webinars, podcasts, events, and sponsorships.
- Developer Community – Channel our community building strategies towards developers, including coordinating developer advocates within our community and supporting developers on their journey to becoming core contributors.
- Developer Experience – Help our Product and DevRel teams to optimize the entire developer journey, ensuring support/activation at every step. Do user studies with developers to understand their paint points and ensure DevRel is addressing them.
Experience:
- Experience doing developer advocacy/evangelism for a scale-up.
- Experience building open-source developer ecosystems.
- Excellent written communication skills, demonstrable by previous documentation/guides.
- Excellent orator willing to speak in front of an audience (virtual and/or IRL).
- Keen organizational abilities with a focus on what’s best for the users.
- High-performance self-starting operator comfortable in remote-first environments.
- Can design processes to make distributed working scalable and efficient.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with building applications that interface with an EVM blockchain (web3.js, ethers, web3.py etc).
- Experience/curiosity running full nodes.
- Experience managing communities.
- Experience contributing to DAOs.
- Strong Meme game.
Characteristics:
- Veracious curiosity for all things Web3 development.
- Can toggle between leader, teammate, steward, community member.
- Can toggle between “professional” and “casual” voices.
- Would be doing this anyway in Web3 communities or, even better, already is.
