As Compound Treasury’s Director of Sales, you will be a key member accelerating a newly launched product in the crypto/fintech space. You will be responsible for expanding our segmented customer base, nurturing and closing new customer opportunities, and building a sales team to drive growth. You will collaborate closely with marketing, operations, compliance, and product and engineering.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with marketing to develop a holistic strategy to acquire customers, including fintech/neobanks, institutional investors, crypto startups/funds
  • Convert inbound opportunities from customer acquisition channels
  • Explore outbound channels in tandem with marketing
  • Develop feedback loops with prospects and customers to inform the product roadmap
  • Develop reporting on efficacy of sales efforts & spend
  • Manage & monitor the e2e sales cycle from first touch to onboarding to refine sales and marketing strategy
  • Hire, train, and mentor the sales organization
  • Establish and exceed sales goals

What You Bring to the Team

  • Track record of selling novel products and saas offerings to large and small customers
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership in a fast-paced environment, capable to taking principled risks
  • Highly adaptable, organized, self-driven, and results oriented approach
  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience
  • Experience working at startup
  • Experience building or scaling a diverse sales team including account executives and managers
  • Experience with developing sales processes, tools, and collateral around new products
