What you'll do
In this role, you are responsible for synthesizing market, developer, full-node operator, product, and competitive inputs into driving the highest possible return for the business. The ideal candidate understands intimately the details and nuances of Pocket’s market, buyer personas, all corners of Web3, principles of open-source, and will be able to deliver business results in terms of infrastructure growth. This role will be a Pocket subject matter expert who is collaborative, a master communicator and enabler.
This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere in the world, which makes communication a crucial part of the role.
In this role, you will
- Formalize an iterative way in which we can deeply understand the user journey and in a way that continually informs and improves upon the products of our core team and community members.
- Connect the values which brought us to this point as well as the solutions generated from the Pocket community to those who would delight in participating as a user and then a contributor through the continual enrichment of our message across all channels.
- Keep the team pulse on advancements in the market and other projects positioning within it such that we can continually stand out. Particularly as copy-cats and/or FUDsters ramp up efforts to try and diminish our successes.
- Collaborate with the development, marketing, solutions teams and community on innovative programs that drive growth and adoption.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators and user insights.
Preferred qualifications
- Knows how to grow adoption of developer platforms
- Knows how to scale market intelligence and understands the competitive landscape
- Knows agile product development lifecycles and Pragmatic Marketing framework when developing a go-to-market plan, including but not limited to key activities and budgets that drive the acquisition of ideal users
- Knows how to work with cross-functional teams such that you can continually enable core members on the most effective communications of our value props, differentiators and overall narratives
- Knows how to negotiate and influence people to rally behind a product, project, and protocol • Acts as a primary thought leader for the products launched from the Pocket core team, and collaborates and coordinates with colleagues and community members to create a constant stream of content that resonates
