Bankless is looking to hire a Script Writer to join the team.
The Bankless Nation is looking for a script writer to expand and grow our new Bankless Basics content. With the recent launch of our new YouTube Channel, we’re pioneering into even shorter content formats. 8-15 minute long, highly concentrated, and punchy videos, which explain a core concept about crypto in as few words as possible. This position requires someone who has excellent writing skills for consumer premium content/crypto education and is eager to help grow the Bankless Nation. The ideal candidate can distill complex subjects into short and digestible formats. Is this you? Keep reading.
The Work
The script writer will work very closely with our team to produce the best and most informative videos on YouTube, ensuring that the broader world discovers the wealth of knowledge that Bankless has to offer.
Most people can explain ‘What is DeFi’ using 90 minutes and 15,000 words. Fewer can do it in 30 minutes, and 5,000 words.
We want the best. 5-15 minutes, 1,000-2,000 words, and not a wasted breath. Examples:
- “What is DeFi?”
- “What are Smart Contracts?”
- “What are NFTs?”
These scripts will be used to produce videos designed to reach hundreds of thousands, and be able to ‘pill’ them in 15 minutes or less.
The future of crypto is at stake! If we can’t reach the widest audience possible, BitBoy will get to them first!

Shoot Your Shot
Applicants should submit an example script for a 5-15 minute explainer video on a particular crypto subject. The subject matter should be something that the outside world could see themselves interested in. It should be obvious that you, the writer, are able to put yourself in the perspective of someone less informed, and perhaps skeptical. The script should be captivatingly informative, and acceptively reductive!
