About The Role In this Strategy and Ecosystem Lead role, you will work closely with Aptos’s Head of Strategy and executive team to support various strategic initiatives as well as Aptos’s ecosystem growth programs – both helping shape the future of Aptos and the web3 industry. This position will work with leaders in the organization to solve a wide range of top priority work streams – scaling early product offerings, and identifying key business initiatives for the company to pursue. You will be relied on for analytical work but also feel comfortable dropping into key problem areas, rolling up your sleeves, and solving problems in a very hands-on manner. What you'll be doing: Strategic planning (global go to market, international expansion) Support and lead strategic ecosystem partnerships in conjunction with the Head of Strategy and Ecosystem team. Help manage a variety of cross functional strategic initiatives working with internal and external stakeholders to grow Aptos in new strategic regions. Assist leadership team in driving key business outcomes and lead select projects independently. Conduct market research, synthesize findings, and work with team members to propose recommendations that shape the future of the company strategy. Help enhance the efficiency of the team by establishing new processes and upgrading current processes. Ecosystem support / external programs Support ecosystem projects in their fundraising efforts by connecting them with the best investors in our network. Support and grow the Aptos Ecosystem Fund investments with an active asset management strategy. Define KPIs and other metrics for ecosystem success and then use those metrics as your reference on the success of new and existing funnels. Support various internal and external ecosystem growth programs and initiatives. Internal Collaboration Help the team build strong relationships with investors, industry players, clients, and strategic partners to ensure the company is at the forefront of new industry developments. Align the Aptos developer community with the broader Aptos community in lockstep with the Aptos ecosystem team. Identify strategic projects in the Aptos ecosystem for the Aptos Product team to direct engineering resources to support as these projects build on Aptos. What we’re looking for: 3-5 years of experience at a top tier company in web3, management consulting, investment banking, or technology. Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and the investment management landscape - particularly within the financial services, fintech, & crypto ecosystems Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills - ability to distill complex topics into a concise, consumable format Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally with senior executives, analysts, and investors A passion and deep understanding for web3 ecosystems and knowledge of the current Layer 1 landscape Resourcefulness and the ability to bring creative, data-driven solutions to every problem and never see a challenge as a dead-end Ability to drive projects independently, thrive on autonomy, and manage multiple initiatives while maintaining a high quality of work Experienced and at ease with presenting and speaking in public The base salary range for this full-time position is $150k - $200k. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and typical maximum target for new hire salaries for the position of a candidate based in the New York area at any level. We do hire exceptionally talented professionals with decades of experience in their field. As such, our range may be higher than what is displayed. Our base salary ranges are determined by experience and location, and we hire at all levels for multiple roles. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills demonstrated during the interviews, working experience, and relevant education or training.
