Karpatkey provides DAOs with financial services. We are a leading DeFi organization with a team of forward-thinking, detail-oriented professionals who are passionate about DeFi and who are committed to helping clients grow their funds.
This pod will be working closely with Gnosis Guild team members.
We're looking to hire a Full-stack JS Engineer to lead a small team (“pod”) within Gnosis Guild focused on developing Zodiac modules for decentralized treasury governance. As an example of the type of projects on which you may work, see the code repository for the existing Zodiac.
The mission: The expansion pack for DAOs, Zodiac is a collection of tools built according to an open standard launched in September 2021 by Gnosis Guild.
What you will do
- Write high-quality, reusable, maintainable code that runs efficiently and optimally both in frontend and backend using React/Node/Solidity and other technologies
- Test completed software and debug as necessary
- Examine existing code and recommend patches, design overhauls or fixes for broken code
- Create support and technical documentation of feature development or active issues
- Work with a pod of 2-3 developers and designers to deliver software solutions in collaboration with the Karpatkey team
- Join Gnosis Guild team development cycles and participate in larger Zodiac ecosystem
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience with common front-end technologies and frameworks (TypeScript, React, css, next.js, graphql)
- Solid coding practices including peer code reviews, unit testing, and a preference for agile development
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to rapidly prototype and adjust in response
- Understanding the Ethereum blockchain
- Ability to manage and innovate on development practices within an emerging, chaotic, and fun industry (“the space”) alongside a grounded team
- Proficiency in written English language
- Broad knowledge of existing treasury management approaches in DAOs and DeFi
