Mean DAO is looking to hire a Software Engineer - Backend and Data to join the team.
We’re looking for a software Engineer deeply passionate about design, code quality, performance, scalability, and seamless end-to-end experiences. Together with a team, you will be working on designing and launching new product features, from the development of business logic to coding and deployment.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop backend API(s) and the underlying database
- Develop software design and architecture, make system and technology decisions together with the team
- Design, build, audit, test and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code in C#, SQL, Node.js, Python, and other languages for specialized applications and systems.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs in our codebase, and proactively devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
- Write, develop and implement specifications to improve and enhance the codebase or its functionality.
Requirements
- Experience in backend and API development with REST and GraphQL
- Proficient in C# / Python / Node.js
- Strong working knowledge of .NET and its ecosystem (.NET 5 and above)
- Experience with SQL and RDBMS with solid DB modeling and architectural principles.
- Experience deploying to AWS and working with distributed cloud computing systems.
- Working knowledge of Rust
- Knowledge of blockchain technology is a strong plus
- Written and verbal communication skills in English
