LinksDAO’s mission is to be the world’s greatest golf community. As VP Engineering, you will oversee the team and technology that builds software to bridge to our community and partner brands. The role is broad and encompasses managing, mentoring, and growing our engineering team, as well as building a culture of disciplined best practices, delivery & quality.
You will be a key decision-maker at LinksDAO, contributing to technical, product, and business strategy. You'll also own the engineering organization's hiring, onboarding, and development.
As VP Engineering, you will:
- Manage, mentor, hire & grow the engineering team
- Provide strategic direction to the corporation while bridging the needs of the DAO
- Own the systems and processes that govern software delivery
- Build a culture of quality, engineering excellence, and rapid iteration
- Work with the product team & rest of the leadership team to establish a roadmap & priorities
- Represent the technology organization in key decisions & bring a technology viewpoint to senior leadership conversations
- Have a strong voice in our technology architecture, investments & direction
You have:
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to bring a vision to life in software
- Interest in technology and the people who build it — you could write the code, but you'd instead grow the team
- A passion, and proven track record, for helping those around you grow and level up
- Comfort spending a good portion of your time recruiting, and you have a knack for bringing the best people
- The desire to build a team with the highest standards of quality & accountability

Experience Requirements:
- 10+ years of engineering / engineering management experience
- Led large (10+) teams of engineers across multiple projects & teams to success while building a collaborative environment
- Understand the principles of agile software development & experience working that way
- Knowledge of Typescript / Solidity. Have blockchain fundamentals.
- Passionate about golf, sports and community-driven endeavors
