Goldfinch is looking to hire a remote Senior Product Manager to join the team.
Founded by two ex-Coinbase employees and backed by top investors including Andreesen Horowitz, Coinbase, IDEO, and Kindred Ventures, Goldfinch is a decentralized credit platform that is using crypto to empower financial inclusion around the world.
Our vision is to build a global, decentralized network that allows anyone to be a lender, not just banks. Since announcing the protocol in January 2021, the loan book has doubled every 2 months. We now serve thousands of end-borrowers across three continents and over 10 different countries. And we're just getting started.
Role Overview
As a Senior Product Manager at Goldfinch, you will be responsible — along with the rest our world-class team — for owning the creation of delightful products for our customers to use. We’ll look to you for innovative product ideas, and expect you to be a voice for the user and to sweat the details of the launches you own. From exploring major new initiatives to tiny wording details, you love thinking big and thinking small. and you enjoy collaborating cross-functionally, partnering with design, engineers, operations, legal, and subject matter experts.
Things You Might Do:
- Design greenfield components from our whitepaper—for example, a dynamic leverage ratio, auditor system, or helping design decentralized governance models
- Own new projects that are proposed and voted on by the community, like coordinating the move to an L2 scaling system, new DeFi protocol integrations, Senior Pool Staking, and more
- Conduct user research and work with the design team to come up with the app’s first Investor Dashboard
Who You'll Be Working With:
- Current team is a mix of tech and finance veterans, with deep crypto and emerging market lending experience from some of the best companies in the world, including Coinbase, Airbnb, Morgan Stanley, Yelp, Goldman Sachs, Branch, Medium, Stratos, and Twilio.
- We're an entrepreneurial bunch. A large percentage of the team has started their own company in the past.

Qualifications:
- Excitement about crypto and the Goldfinch mission!
- 4+ years of professional product management experience
- Strong product judgement, can see through user requests into the real needs, and loves finding innovative ways to meet those needs.
- Strong instincts for prioritizing step change improvements, and cutting little optimizations.
- Detail oriented, with proven ability to coordinate cross-functional product roll-outs.
- Ability to work with little guidance and find paths forward
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal), organization, and relationship skills.
- Inclusive leader, open to feedback, transparent with others, and have a team-first mentality.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in crypto or using DeFi.
- Having good understandings of the crypto ecosystem and DeFi composability.
