We are looking for an experienced Events Coordinator to manage both internal and global large-scale commercial events. This role will ensure events are successful, well-organized, and cost-effective, playing close attention to budget and time constraints.

The ideal candidate will be operations focused and detail oriented, with great communication skills and an ability to work in a high stakes situations. They'll leverage their well-maintained network to source competent and tasteful vendors and external event planners.

This role will report into the Head of Growth.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate operations for all events
  • Manage communication between the company and event planners and vendors
  • Work closely with the design and marketing team to create and order and manage merchandise
  • Ensure events are executed flawlessly
  • Act as the first line to resolve any issues or unexpected matters that arise
  • Manage ticketing system
  • Help define success metrics for events
  • Work closely with our social media team for promotional activities for events

Requirements

  • Proven experience overseeing large-scale commercial events
  • An established, provable portfolio of successful events
  • Skilled project manager
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Pro-active problem solver
  • Operates calmly and professionally under pressure
  • Positive attitude and team player is a must
  • Proficient in excel
  • Loves process and is extremely detail oriented
  • BA in hospitality management, PR, marketing or related field is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience
