Aave is looking to hire an Events Manager to join the team. This is a full-time position that is located in London.

We are looking for an experienced Events Coordinator to manage both internal and global large-scale commercial events. This role will ensure events are successful, well-organized, and cost-effective, playing close attention to budget and time constraints.
The ideal candidate will be operations focused and detail oriented, with great communication skills and an ability to work in a high stakes situations. They'll leverage their well-maintained network to source competent and tasteful vendors and external event planners.
This role will report into the Head of Growth.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate operations for all events
- Manage communication between the company and event planners and vendors
- Work closely with the design and marketing team to create and order and manage merchandise
- Ensure events are executed flawlessly
- Act as the first line to resolve any issues or unexpected matters that arise
- Manage ticketing system
- Help define success metrics for events
- Work closely with our social media team for promotional activities for events
Requirements
- Proven experience overseeing large-scale commercial events
- An established, provable portfolio of successful events
- Skilled project manager
- Outstanding communication skills
- Pro-active problem solver
- Operates calmly and professionally under pressure
- Positive attitude and team player is a must
- Proficient in excel
- Loves process and is extremely detail oriented
- BA in hospitality management, PR, marketing or related field is preferred
- 3-5 years of experience
