Rook Labs is looking to hire a remote Writer. This is a contract basis position that is 100% remote.

We are looking for an experienced writer with strong copy editing skills to help us produce top notch copy. This is a Contract based position, but maybe evolve into a full-time position (FTE). We have work available for ghostwriters, technical writers as well as copy- and content writers.
At KeeperDAO, we take writing very seriously. Whether that’s code, documentation or sales copy. As such, to be considered for this grant, writing should be your thing. We’re looking for someone who is hell bent on producing some of the best writing in Web3.
Responsibilities
- For ghost writers and copywriters: The ability to quickly turn a half-decent draft of an idea, PR, landing/web page, governance proposal, etc. into a finished product that’s ready for publication
- For technical writers: The ability to distill highly technical and detailed documentation into clear prose, that’s (relatively) easy to comprehend.
Requirements
- We are looking for people with high agency
- Working at KeeperDAO requires you to be a professional
- Interest in Web3 and acquaintance with financial terms is a must
- A High EQ
- Team players only: We build things together. Ego’s are left at the door
- A passion for writing and a deep understanding of the importance and power of well constructed messaging
- Very strong writing and editing skills
- The ability to take a half-decent draft and consistently turn it into something ready for publication.
- Excellent written English, including good spelling and grammar
- A deep understanding and demonstrable expertise in your area of writing
- Meticulous approach to their work and an eye for detail
Preferred qualifications
- A solid understanding of (decentralized) finance and blockchains
- Experience working in small (5-10) creative teams
