Many DAOs provide investment funding or grants to individuals and entities that align with their mission. There are various types of funding and grant giving DAO's:
- Venture - similar to a venture capital or investment syndicate formed to provide investment capital to companies.
- Protocol - many protocols provide grants to DAO projects building on the protocol or adding value to the community.
- Syndicate - similar to traditional investment syndicates, these DAO's invest capital in companies, art, projects, and individuals.
